The initial element was‘air’.Over 20 years ago, the founders of element3, Manfred Hofer and Markus Noichl, came up with the idea of taking their guests high up into the air on an unforgettable tandem paraglide flight. This was followed by the elements of ‘earth’ and ‘water’ in the form of some exceptional experi- ences in the Kitzbühel Mountains or adventurous excursions into the wild canyons. Whether in summer or winter andwhether on land or water – element3 always has something exceptional to offer. Although it is known simply as the ‘ski school’ in winter, guests at element3 are offered much more than just skiing lessons. The 5-star service starts with a comfortable shuttle ride operated by partner company Audi to transport guests from their hotel in comfort. Group lessons with a maximum of six people or a private skiing instructor guarantee fast progress and plenty of fun! The young, dynamic and well- trained team of up to 150 skiing instruc- tors guarantee this. This is a paradise in the snow for chil- dren – they can take their first few steps on skis across the Hotel Rasmushof site and learn to ski without fear or danger. Soon they will be skiing independently through ‘Kitzis Kinderland’, dashing over the waves and small hills until the ‘magic carpet’ lift takes them back to the top again. “They are quickly confi- dent enough on their skis to go skiing with the adults,” says Simone Hofer who provides children at the kinderland with the best possible supervision. Freeriding on untouched terrain … what skier does not dream of this! The skiing instructors at element3 know the off- piste terrain like the backs of their hands and introduce guests to some beautiful deep snow and firn slopes. January is ideal for off-piste skiing, says Manfred Hofer. As part of the freeride film festival on the 7th of January 2017 we offer our guest special freeride pack- ages. Yet skiing is not all element3 has to offer. The weekly winter programme offers something different for every day – snow shoe walks, sledging or romantic torch-lit walks. For bigger groups or company events, Managing Director Isabella Kortschak can also organise dog sledging, an ice hockey match or ig- loo building together. There are no re- strictions on ingenuity, adrenaline and fun here! Exceptional mountain experiences can be enjoyed all year round with ele- ment3.
